Every course brings Pine Grove's neighbors closer together. One of them brings a killer to the table.

When former NYPD homicide detective turned restaurant owner Lily Good joins Pine Grove's revived progressive supper, she expects an evening of welcoming homes, delicious food, and friendly conversation. With each course served at a different house and dessert waiting at The Good Chef, it should be the perfect celebration of community.

Instead, one of the hosts is found murdered in her pantry.

Everyone attending the supper had a reason to move from house to house-and one carefully timed kitchen mishap may have given the killer a chance to slip away unnoticed. As Lily begins asking questions, the gracious evening reveals its hidden tensions. A dish that should have cooled tells a different story than the guests do. An ornate crystal platter may not be where it belongs. And someone at the table is guarding a secret worth killing to keep.

Between busy meals at The Good Chef and the family and friends who make Pine Grove home, Lily must reconstruct the evening course by course before the killer strikes again.
