In Algeria, soil erosion in watersheds is a major problem. This watershed, part of the larger Seybouse watershed, is triangular in shape and covers an area of 1,776 km².This book examines the quantitative estimation of sediment based on data and seasonal values obtained from the National Water Resources Agency to estimate the total amount of sediment and the specific degradation of the watershed, with the aim of proposing the necessary measures for its protection.
