Beginning with the time of antiquity and continuing into the present day, the authors explore the sometimes gruesome fabrications that have led to and have been used as justifications for numerous acts of violence and hatred against Jews. The chapters examine such issues as the notion of Jews as murderers of Christ and as instruments of Satan, the scapegoating of Jews in the modern world as both evil capitalists and evil communists, the fearsomely widespread belief that the Holocaust never happened, and the anti-Semitic commentaries of the Nation of Islam.
