Twenty-year-old aspiring filmmaker Iris Wheeler returns home to Lighthouse Point for what she expects will be another familiar summer on the South Shore of Long Island-sun-soaked beaches, late nights with lifelong friends, and enough time to finish the short film she hopes will launch the next chapter of her life.

But this summer feels different.
