"Blueleader," a satire, is a story of cultural contrasts as the fates of U.S. Air Force General and Mrs. Wilson are cast in the decisions they make. Self-centered Pearl delights in plundering the gold souks finding jewelry to enhance her beauty and her role as General's wife. The couple are immersed in events over which they only think they have control, while America's CIA and Saudi Arabia's Royal Family have other plans for the couple's aspirations.
