BOOK IIIi - UMBRA NEXUS - THE HORIZON

UMBRA NEXUS BOOK IIIi
THE HORIZON
THE LAST DOOR THAT SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN OPENED

Some doors were never meant to be opened.

Some mysteries were never meant to be solved.

Some questions are so ancient that even the universe continues searching for their answers.

Hans Baumann has spent his entire life chasing the unknown. Science taught him that every mystery eventually yields to observation, logic, and persistence. Curiosity has always been his greatest strength-but also the force that has led him toward impossible horizons.

Now, after crossing a forgotten threshold beyond space, time, and every known law of reality, Hans finds himself in Umbra-a realm unlike anything humanity has ever imagined.

Umbra exists between realities, between possibilities, between memories, and between the countless paths that were never taken. It is a place where abandoned futures continue to exist, where forgotten civilizations leave echoes that still resonate across existence, and where every decision casts a shadow that never completely disappears.

The Architects have witnessed stars ignite, civilizations rise and vanish, and universes emerge from unimaginable cosmic processes. They shape possibilities, preserve forgotten realities, and guide the eternal balance between creation and transformation.

Yet even they possess no final answers.

The Observers have spent eternity watching the deepest mysteries of existence, hoping that endless observation might eventually reveal the truth hidden beyond every horizon.

Yet they continue to wait.

The Shadows wander among forgotten possibilities, silent reminders that nothing truly disappears. Every choice not made, every life never lived, every future abandoned still leaves traces within the architecture of reality.

Ancient Egyptians.

Greek philosophers.

The Maya.

Sumerians.

Norse myths.

Modern physicists.

Astronomers.

Dreamers.

As childhood memories slowly return, Hans is forced to confront the question that has silently guided his entire life:

Why did his father leave?

What begins as a deeply personal wound gradually reveals itself to be connected with questions far older than humanity itself.

The legendary Door Zero.

A doorway feared even by those who have existed since before the birth of countless universes.

A threshold that no Architect truly understands.

A mystery that may not conceal an answer-but an even greater question.

What lies beyond it?

No one knows.

Perhaps no one ever will.

Because some doors are not built to be opened.

Some exist only to remind us that mystery has no end.

More than an epic science-fiction adventure, Umbra Nexus: The Horizon is an exploration of existence itself.

What is time?

What is consciousness?

Why does anything exist instead of nothing?

And if every reality casts a shadow...

What casts the shadow of reality itself?

Unlike traditional science fiction, Umbra Nexus does not offer easy answers.

Instead, it invites readers to embrace wonder.

To rediscover curiosity.

To recognize that the greatest discoveries often begin with the simplest questions.

Hans ultimately discovers that the value of a journey is not measured by the answers it provides, but by the questions it teaches us to carry

Some mysteries become more beautiful precisely because they remain unsolved.

Some wounds become the doors through which we discover ourselves.

Some horizons are not meant to be reached.

You will walk beside its questions.

You will stand before its impossible doors.

And when you finally reach the last horizon...

Only one question will remain.

If you found a door that no one had ever dared to open...

Would you cross it?<...
