When we first began gathering at Title Euphoria, we were just a group of individual writers looking for a place to belong. We came from different genres, different backgrounds, and different stages of our careers, but we shared one common goal: to tell stories that matter.
What we found in that bookstore was more than just a meeting space; we found a sanctuary.
This anthology, By the Book, was born from the varied and vibrant discussions held within those walls. It is a celebration of the craft, the struggle, and the joy of self-publishing. But more importantly, it is a tribute.
We decided to create this collection for Elizabeth. Her unwavering support for local authors and her dedication to keeping the spirit of literature alive in our community have been the bedrock of our success. Without her vision for Title Euphoria, many of these stories might still be sitting in desk drawers. Elizabeth didn't just give us a shelf to put our books on-she gave us a home to write them in.
To Elizabeth, and to every reader who walks through the doors of Title Euphoria: thank you for believing in the power of the written word. We hope these stories move you, thrill you, and remind you why we all fell in love with books in the first place.
