Think of a carnival, what does it conjure up - a celebration of bright colours, lots of fun, excitement and spectacle - all these elements are featured in Gillian Harris's new book. Following on from the successful Complete Feltmaking, Gillian draws on the carnival atmosphere to create a diverse range of stylish felt-making projects. Carnival of Felting contains a wealth of practical advice on the major feltmaking techniques, for example, wet felting with precision, needle felting, fine cobweb felting and nuno felting. The colourful projects include home and personal accessories, from a delicate cobweb curtain to festive bunting for a party, or an intricately decorated floral clutchbag for an evening out. Gillian's work often combines different felting techniques and is upbeat and cheery, with an emphasis on vibrancy and detail. Her unique sense of style results in rich, interesting projects that everyone will want to make, touch and own! Word count: 28,000
