Chinese Reading Comprehension 2

Welcome to the 2nd volume in the Chinese Reading Comprehension Series. The new volume brings up five famous traditional stories (中国神话故事) for Mandarin Chinese reading comprehension in the following order:

Chapter 1: Dragon King of the Sea (第一章：煮海治龙王)

Chapter 2: Agarwood Saves Mother (第二章：沉香救母)

Chapter 3: He Bo Marries Daughter-in-law (第三章：河伯娶媳)

Chapter 4: Dragon Princess (第四章：龙公主和伙浆仔)

      The current book volume, Chinese Reading Comprehension 2, is a Level 2 Chinese reading practice book. It would introduce you to 5 famous Chinese short stories. Each of the stories is accompanied with 10 multiple answer type questions. The answer keys are as well included in the book. The 2^nd volume in the Chinese Reading Comprehension Series (汉语阅读理解) includes both the Chinese text (simplified characters) and pinyin Romanization. With over 600 unique Chinese characters, the volume would be suitable for the beginners, lower intermediate and advanced level Chinese language learners (HSK 1-6). Overall, the reading series offers you a variety of elementary level books (Level 1/2/3/4/5/6) to understand China as well as practice Chinese reading fast.
