The problem with memories is they never go away, sooner or later you just have to come to grips with them and either go on and let them be just that, or you began to relive them and get some enjoyment from them, I have chosen the latter, after years of thinking about all the things I had experienced in the Corps, I decided to put them on paper, however my real life was not exciting enough to write a book about, so as any good Marine will do, I adapted, improvised, and overcame. The characters I have created in these books are real, they have developed a face, a personality of their own, and although they are larger than life, meaner than snakes, they are Marines first and always, and now walk with me as part of my daily life.
