The papers compiled in the present volume purport to investigate the many fruitful manners in which cognitive linguistics can expand further on the formulation of a cognitive translation theory. They provide a picture of the different theoretical and applied models which originate at the crossroads between both disciplines, and suggest ways in which they can take advantage of the synergy between them.
