Cory the Cloud and the Shape-Maker

What if the very thing that makes you different is what makes you extraordinary?

Cory the Cloud loves being different.

Sometimes he is curly. Sometimes he is wispy. Sometimes he looks like a sheep, a dragon or even an octopus.

But when the mysterious Shape-Maker arrives and declares that every cloud should be perfectly round, Cory begins to wonder whether he must change to fit in.

The harder Cory tries to become someone else, the further he drifts from who he truly is. Then, one moonlit night, he discovers something that changes everything...

Fitting in and belonging are not the same thing. Cory learns that he can belong just as he is.

A heartwarming story about courage, self-belief and the beauty of being yourself.

Perfect for children aged 3 and over who are:

• Building confidence and self-belief
• Worrying about fitting in
• Learning to feel proud of what makes them unique
• Discovering their own strengths

The book also includes three activities to help children explore its message:

• Cory's Feelings Wheel - a colourful tool to help children recognise their feelings and find reassuring words when they feel worried or unsure
• Talk About It with Cory - gentle prompts for talking about fitting in, handling pressure and celebrating what makes them special
• Colour with Cory - a creative activity inviting children to imagine and draw their own unique cloud shape

Parents, grandparents, teachers and counsellors can share Cory's gentle message:

You never have to change who you are to belong.
