Delight

Some things motivate and move people in life, some things make people happy and they find satisfaction in and it is important that what one delights in should be the word of God, the desire to live in his presence, the desire to please God and live for him. A lot of people delight in things that do not give God glory; they have allowed their flesh and its desire to bring about the satisfaction they want. They have neglected God's desire and pleasure, what God wants forgetting we were created for God's pleasure and will. Christ came to reveal the life of God on earth which can be fulfilled or lived by men on earth. He came to bring about the possibility of God through his death on the cross. He came to make our life better and reveal God's intention in the beginning. He came to reveal the truth of God that men had not known so they will make a great impact in their lives. The life we live is not our own, we have been called to reveal the life of God on earth through what we do and the activities we carry out. There should be this burning desire to grow in God, the passion to be used by God. As you wake up each morning it should be your desire to spend time with God daily so that he can bring about his revelation to you, his plan and thought for you and it is in studying God's word and the desire to know him you will know your right as a child of God, you would not live in fear but confident that God will see you through and bring about increase in all that you do.
