The continuation of Em's journey in The Seventh Layer Saga, C.R. Ware leads us back into the Seventh Layer World, where dark magic and dangerous secrets begin to collide.

The curse is broken, but a relentless enemy is closing in.

Em awakens to a day he can finally remember. The parasite eating at his mind is finally no more. Yet he is barely able to begin to hope before he learns that the living curse was not content to die alone. The faker, his vanquished tormentor, is trying from beyond death to end his life. The only thing protecting him is the magic of Master D'gui and her apprentice Ceahan.

Thankfully, as long as there is peace and nothing disturbs their spellwork, the accursed monster's efforts will fade in time. Thus, all should be well soon, shouldn't it?

Yet, fate coils around Em and his companions like silken serpents, drawing in a dangerous enemy the master and her apprentice thought they had long left behind, endangering both Em and his would-be saviors.
