Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2021 im Fachbereich BWL - Controlling, Note: 1,3, FOM Hochschule für Oekonomie & Management gemeinnützige GmbH, Berlin früher Fachhochschule, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Zielsetzung dieser Arbeit ist, das Thema RPA ganz allgemein zu erläutern sowie im weiteren Verlauf einen Implementierungsprozess darzustellen und abschließend einen Beispielprozess aus dem Controlling auszuführen. Die vorliegende Arbeit besteht aus vier Kapiteln. Im ersten Kapitel der vorliegenden Seminararbeit wird in das Thema eingeführt und zur Fragestellung hingeleitet. Des Weiteren wird der methodische Aufbau erläutert. In Kapitel zwei werden theoretische Grundlagen erläutert, die für das Verständnis des Themas nötig sind. Dazu wird als erstes der Begriff RPA definiert und erläutert. Darüber hinaus wird kurz erläutert wie RPA funktioniert. Zusätzlich werden die Vorteile und Nachteile beim Einsatz von Robotic Process Automation erläutert. Im praktischen Hauptteil der vorliegenden Seminararbeit, dem Kapitel drei, wird dargelegt wie ein Implementierungsprozess von RPA innerhalb eines Unternehmens durchgeführt werden kann. Dazu wird auf verschiedene Aspekte innerhalb dieser Implementierung (z.B. Governance, Operation Model) eingegangen. Abschließend wird ein Beispielprozess aus dem Bereich Controlling skizziert, der mit Hilfe von RPA teilweise automatisiert werden könnte. In einem Fazit werden die untersuchten Ergebnisse zusammengefasst.
