The Department of Osteoporosis and Bone Diseases at the Sixth People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine was established in 1993. It is a leading center for clinical and scientific research on bone metabolic diseases in China. In 2019, it established the Shanghai Clinical Research Center for Bone Diseases.
