The Faringo Kid is a humorous view of the Old West in cartoon form. The story traces the life of Jonathan Napoleon Faringo, aka. Faringo Kid, as he aspires to be the fastest gun who ever lived. Many characters go in and out of Faringo's journey that eventually takes him from darkenss into the light. Dance hall star Belle Chimes, sheriff Waylon Twerp, Doc Parasite, and the travelling preacher Johnny Plantaseed are just a few. Although the comic element of the story is apparent, The Faringo Kid also raises questions about faith, salvation, eternal life and having a relationship with the Living God. It also shows a glimpse of heaven and hell. So why not ride along with Faringo, and I know that you will have many questions and thoughts when you reach the end of the trail.
