The Hunterdon County National Bank is the oldest financial institution in Hunterdon County, chartered as a national bank in May, 1865, as a successor of the old Hunterdon County Bank, organized under the State Banking Laws in 1854. It is to - day stronger than at any time in its long history, notwithstanding the fact that eleven other national banks have been organized in this county since the date of its Charter, all of which are in a żourishing condition to - day. The total resources of this Bank are Conservative, yet progressive in its man agement, its present officers are men who have the interests of the town at heart and stand ready to lend such financial aid to its patrons as good business judgment would dictate.
