On 13 June 2025, the International Atomic Energy Agency inventoried 440.9 kilograms of uranium hexafluoride enriched to 60 percent inside Iran - of which inspectors had themselves verified 432.9 kilograms before losing access altogether. Rather than smoothing over the war's genuinely uneven documentary record, the book sorts every claim it makes into four explicit evidentiary tiers - established, corroborated, claimed, and inferred - and holds to that discipline from the first page to the last, including in its extensive tables, source notes, and bibliography.
