We rightfully demand justice in all areas of our lives as if it were the most natural thing in the world. But in order to show off justice to its advantage, we have to reach a fundamental agreement about how to understand justice. This was the topic of the 18th annual conference held by the Rudolf-Bultmann-Gesellschaft für Hermeneutische Theologie e.V. Its conclusions can be found in this anthology (including articles by Hermann Spieckermann, Christof Landmesser, Angelika Neuwirth, Rainer Marten, Tom Kleffmann and bishop Otfried July).
