Grade 11 Resilience Curriculum

RISE Eleventh Grade Resilience Curriculum: Leadership & Performance helps students move beyond self-management into purposeful leadership, stronger performance, and visible impact.

Eleventh grade is a year of increasing responsibility. Students are expected to make more independent decisions, manage greater academic and personal pressure, communicate with maturity, recover from setbacks, contribute to teams, and begin preparing seriously for life beyond high school.

Leadership & Performance gives students practical tools to meet those expectations with resilience, confidence, integrity, and intention.

Across 36 weeks and 180 daily learning experiences, students learn to raise their personal standards, strengthen focus and preparation, perform under pressure, regulate emotions, communicate effectively, navigate conflict, use feedback, recover from setbacks, lead collaboratively, recognize opportunity, and turn effort into meaningful contribution.

Students progress through six developmental areas:

Own Your Performance - Build standards, responsibility, identity, and personal leadership.

Perform With Intention - Strengthen focus, preparation, execution, consistency, and follow-through.

Lead Under Pressure - Develop emotional regulation, courage, decision-making, and communication when situations become difficult.

Influence With Integrity - Practice teamwork, boundaries, conflict resolution, listening, and ethical leadership.

Turn Setbacks Into Performance - Use feedback, recovery, adaptation, persistence, and reflection to improve the next attempt.

Create Visible Impact - Apply leadership through initiative, contribution, opportunity, service, projects, and future readiness.

• Preparation for the transition into Grade 12: Mastery & Launch

RISE teaches students that leadership is not simply a title. It is the ability to manage yourself, perform consistently, influence responsibly, recover intelligently, and contribute when it matters.
