Randy Connelly returns to his quiet hometown of Washtenaw with a fresh college degree, vague career ambitions, and one goal: keep the peace. Between working at his dad's hardware store, managing his reckless twin brother Todd, and nursing a hopeless crush on the very-married Alicia, life in Washtenaw seems predictable-if slightly pathetic.

But all of that changes during one boozy night around the campfire. A shadow in the woods. A bite. A bad feeling that won't go away. Suddenly, something ancient and monstrous has awakened-inside Todd.

Now, people are dying, the town is changing, and Randy finds himself at the center of a supernatural storm that threatens to consume everything he loves.
