As much as I want to rejoice over the demi-god's return, we're not in a position to let down our guard. Trapped in this hedge maze together, every twist and turn brings risks with no clear method to solve the puzzle in sight.

After turning down Taneisha's offer to go home and threatening to rally my mage family against her, I fear I've only made her angry. I lose ground in every negotiation with the fae. Sooner or later, I fear she'll refuse my requests and I'll lose what little sway I have over the mercurial fae.
