"Historiae Exegeseos Compendium" a P. Alberto Vaccari S.J. scriptum est opus fundamentale quod evolutionem interpretationis Scripturae Sacrae a primis saeculis usque ad aetatem modernam perscrutatur. Hoc volumen summam praebet methodorum et scholarum quae per saecula textus biblicos interpretati sunt. Auctor, vir doctissimus et in Pontificio Instituto Biblico professor, perspicue exponit quomodo Patres Ecclesiae, doctores scholastici, et critici recentiores verbum Dei intellexerint et explicaverint.

In hoc opere, lector inveniet non solum enumerationem interpretum, sed etiam synthesim theologicam et historicam quae momentum traditionis et investigationis scientificae in re biblica illustrat. "Historiae Exegeseos Compendium" utile manet instrumentum omnibus qui student theologiae, historiae ecclesiasticae, et litteris sacris, offerens claram viam per complexam historiam hermeneuticae christianae.
