I'M STILL HERE: Doing Something With My Second Chance continues the journey that began in Rebuilding the Man.

Part 1 focused on confronting the damage, renewing the mind, repairing relationships, rebuilding trust, forgiving yourself, and becoming the person you should have been.

Part 2 asks:

What are you going to do with the life you have left?

A second chance is not only something you receive. It is something you must protect and use. Survival gives you more time, but purpose gives that time direction.

Levi R. Stansberry Sr. knows what it means to lose years to addiction, incarceration, reckless behavior, broken relationships, and poor choices. He also knows that getting sober and coming home do not automatically create a meaningful life.

Eventually, the excitement of recovery wears off.

People stop congratulating you. Life becomes ordinary again. Bills arrive. Relationships require patience. Temptation returns. Some doors remain closed. Some people still see who you used to be, even after you have changed.

That is when the real work begins.

Can you remain committed when nobody is applauding?

Can you keep making better decisions when progress feels slow?

Can you protect your recovery when disappointment, boredom, loneliness, pressure, or your old life comes calling?

In Part 2 of The I'M STILL HERE Series, Levi speaks honestly about recovery after the celebration ends. He explores finding purpose later in life, staying disciplined, serving people coming behind you, and turning painful experiences into a roadmap for someone else.

Addiction, incarceration, shame, broken trust, and lost years carried real consequences. But Levi refuses to let those experiences remain wasted.

The lessons cost too much to keep to himself.

His journey through behavioral health, transitional housing, peer support, recovery services, mentorship, and leadership taught him that people need more than advice. They need opportunity, accountability, support, and someone willing to see the person behind the addiction, record, diagnosis, homelessness, trauma, or worst decision.

That understanding helped shape Community Resources United Sharing Hope-CRUSH.

CRUSH meets people where they are, restores dignity, shares hope, connects families with resources, and reminds them that their worst chapter does not have to become the rest of their lives.

But reaching back does not mean Levi believes he has arrived.

He is still learning, growing, accepting correction, strengthening relationships, protecting his recovery, and making decisions that affect his family, leadership, purpose, and those who see his life as evidence that change is possible.

Purpose does not remove struggle. It gives you a reason to continue through it.

This book is for anyone who has survived addiction, incarceration, homelessness, trauma, violence, mental health challenges, broken relationships, or years without direction.

It is for those who believe they started too late, are doing better but wondering what comes next, or need to remember why they began recovery.

You do not have to be perfect to serve somebody else. But you must be honest about where you are, what you know, and what you are still becoming.

Your pain can become a warning sign.

Your experience can become a roadmap.

Your survival can become service.

Your second chance can become hope for somebody else.

Your past remains part of your story, but it does not have the authority to write the ending.

Levi is still here because God's grace gave him another opportunity.

Now he is determined to do something meaningful with it.

He still has to make CHOICES.
