Die vorliegende Arbeit vergleicht das Wettbewerbskollisionsrecht Deutschlands und Großbritanniens. Die Arbeit beginnt mit einer kritischen Bestandsaufnahme der Rechtslage in beiden Ländern. Intensiv wird in diesem Zusammenhang der passing off Anspruch diskutiert. Einen weiteren Schwerpunkt der Arbeit stellen Multi-State-Delikte dar. Hier sind die Schlagworte E-Commerce-Richtlinie und Fernsehrichtlinie zu nennen. Es geht aber nicht nur um eine bloße Darstellung der geltenden Rechtslage, sondern die Arbeit möchte auch eine Orientierung für die Neugestaltung des internationalen Lauterkeitsrechts beider Länder geben. Weder die jüngst verabschiedete Richtlinie über unlautere Geschäftspraktiken, noch die immer wieder diskutierte Verordnung über Verkaufsförderung im Binnenmarkt haben eine solche Neuordnung herbeigeführt. Dem präsentierten Lösungsvorschlag einer einheitlichen Kollisionsregel kommt daher eine Leitbildfunktion für alle Länder der Europäischen Union zu.
