LEAVE IT OPEN

What happens when curiosity becomes a way of life?

Andrew Pawley has spent years opening doors.

Money. Politics. Crypto. Conspiracy. Consciousness. Near-death experiences. Artificial intelligence. Strange coincidences. Questions about who to trust, what counts as evidence and whether reality is quite as straightforward as we are told.

Some doors led somewhere.
Some led nowhere.
Some are still open.

LEAVE IT OPEN is not a book telling you what to believe. It is the story of what happens when one ordinary man tries to work out what is really going on - and gradually discovers that the harder, and more important, problem is learning how to live while the answer remains uncertain.

Along the way, Andrew tests ideas he desperately wants to be true, encounters evidence he cannot simply dismiss, watches attractive theories fall apart and learns to separate intuition from proof, experience from explanation and curiosity from certainty.

Part memoir, part investigation and part argument for intellectual independence, LEAVE IT OPEN is for anyone who has ever looked at a world overflowing with competing versions of reality and thought:

I don't know what the fuck to believe anymore.

You do not have to believe everything.
You do not have to dismiss everything either.
You need a way to think.

This is not a book about finding the final answer.

It is about learning when to keep the door open - and when to walk away.
