Yin Ye, Ph.D. from the University of Copenhagen, is a genomics researcher and CEO of BGI Group. He has participated in nearly 100 international genomic projects, published over 60 papers in journals including Nature, and contributed to SARS and COVID-19 research. He has launched multiple public welfare initiatives and foundations focused on genetic diseases, cancer, and infectious diseases. He is also the creator of popular science platforms including the ""Tianyuan Ye Tan"" podcast and the ""Yin Ge Liao Ji Yin"" WeChat account, dedicated to making life sciences accessible and engaging to the public.
