Still competing until the age of 56 a tragic accident ended his sporting life. As manager and promoter for Tommy, Dave got to meet all the great rock 'n' rollers from the Sixties and the world of entertainment of the day. This book is a warm recollection of these times, a celebration of the people behind the celebrities - never in a negative or salacious way, simply a reflection and celebration of the warmth, camaraderie and teamwork of the people he encountered whether on a Speedway track, a rugby field, a marathon or backstage.
