Alexander Nickl ist Lichtkünstler und Neoprojektionist. Über neun Jahre arbeitete er an einer Innenwelt, dargestellt in "Mentagrammen", das in dem Wiener Mentagramm I umfassend dokumentiert wird. In der nachfolgenden Publikation Mentagramm II werden neue Mentagramme von 2014 bis 2016 vorgestellt, die von einer Außenwelt erzählen. In zahlreichen Bużhnenbildern zeigt sich diese Welt unter dem Scheinwerferlicht des Neoprojektionstheaters. Diese "Bühnenbild-Landschaften" bestehen aus Blumen, Bäumen, Traumbildern, Kontakten zu Kużnstlern und Nachrichtenmeldungen. Über die Frage, welche Mentagramm-Bużhnenbilder es in die Vorstellung des Neoprojektionstheaters schaffen, entscheidet eine Art Deus ex machina, der KD-L47.
