In My Story Continues: Life After Cancer, Joshua A. Turner continues the story of a childhood transformed by cancer and the long road that followed. After completing his final chemotherapy treatment in 1994, Joshua faced a new challenge: rebuilding a life that had been changed by illness, surgeries, and years of treatment.

Unable to walk normally, Joshua worked to regain his strength and independence. With the encouragement of his parents, family, friends, teachers, church community, and others who believed in him, he returned to school and eventually graduated from high school. His journey continued through his first job, college, volunteer firefighting, moves across the country, marriage, divorce, and a renewed commitment to his faith.

But recovery did not mean that the struggles were over.

Years later, Joshua continues to live with pain, disabilities, and the lasting effects of what he endured. Yet through those challenges, he has discovered something deeper: gratitude for life, appreciation for the people who helped him along the way, and an enduring faith in God.
