"Nani" is part of a series of children's books published through Peace4Kids' Revolution of Care Movement (ROCMove) initiative, which is dedicated to the countless youth in foster care who have achieved greatness in the face of unbelievable challenges. All proceeds go toward donating copies to children in foster care, public schools, public libraries, children's courts, and children's centers.

Nani, a shooting star, lacks context regarding her origins and identity. Cast out from her home in Saturn's ring, Nani sets out on a quest for safety and affection. Despite her lack of knowledge about her past, she is guided by an unwavering determination to find her "home." Using powerful symbolism, author and illustrator Mir Cortez Cáceres skillfully highlights the negative preconceptions that many children in foster care experience. The story sheds light on the stark reality faced by those who seek safety in a world that may not always accept them.
