Nora from Canora is about a cougar who was first found as an orphaned cub in the wilderness between Sylvan Lake, Alberta, and the Canadian Rockies. She becomes an extended family member of the Reaney Family after Aaron, a Conservation Officer for Alberta Wildlife, decides, with his wife, Amanda, and their toddler twins, Ashley and Carter, to adopt her. Their lives go about as normal for nearly a year until Aaron gets the call about his mother, Cheri, suffering a severe stroke, and he rushes to Yorkton, Saskatchewan, to see her. Due to the severity of her condition, it's established that she can't move back to her acreage between Good Spirit Provincial Park and the Town of Canora on her own. This prompts a family decision for the Reaneys to move to the same farmhouse Aaron grew up in so they can bring Cheri back home. It's also decided that Nora comes with them. After completing the legal paperwork to move her between Alberta and Saskatchewan, the move is made and their new journey begins in the heart of the Saskatchewan Prairies. How will Nora cope with the new environment and will the community tolerate a cougar living among them as a neighbor?
