Seven Essences. Seven Orders. One conspiracy that could unravel them all.

For as long as anyone can remember, the seven Orders have kept Aetheria in balance. Each Order bound to its Essence, each Essence bound to the world itself. They stand as Wardens of weather, death, time, and the stars themselves. The Patrons command the Orders. The Guardians enforce the Patrons' will. And Aetheria, protected and prosperous, endures.

But now, the Patrons have gone silent and the Essences have become unstable. Chaos threatens to swallow Aetheria and all those who call it home. When seven Essence-infused talismans are recovered from the hands of those who would see the Orders destroyed, the truth becomes clear. Someone within the Orders has been working against everything they swore to protect.

Desperate, the Guardians task the junior members of the Watchtower Council with one goal: bring back the Patrons before Aetheria comes apart. If they want to succeed, they will need to put aside their distrust, pride, and ambition and find a way to combine that which has always been separate. The closer they get to the truth, the more they'll discover about themselves, each other, and Aetheria itself.
