Pancreatic cancer, often referred to as the "king of cancers," is a highly malignant and common digestive system malignancy with an extremely poor prognosis and a gradually increasing incidence. In China, both the incidence and age‑standardized mortality rates of pancreatic cancer have been rising year by year, with the mortality rate approaching the annual incidence rate. Early detection of pancreatic cancer is difficult; most patients are diagnosed at an advanced stage, when the opportunity for curative surgical resection has been lost. Among targeted therapies, PARP inhibitors have achieved significant progress in the maintenance treatment of metastatic pancreatic cancer patients with BRCA gene mutations. Tumor immunotherapy, represented by PD‑1/PD‑L1 immune checkpoint inhibitors, has greatly changed the clinical cancer treatment paradigm because it can maintain durable responses and achieve long‑term survival. However, many patients harbor misunderstandings about pancreatic cancer, leading to delayed consultation and feelings of fear. It focuses on explaining the issues that patients commonly care about during the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer, helping the general public gain a deeper understanding of pancreatic‑related matters, strengthen their confidence, and facilitating early diagnosis and adherence to standardized treatment. It aims to enhance public knowledge, increase the early diagnosis rate, and improve patient survival.

胰腺癌俗称"癌中之王"，是恶性程度极高的消化系统常见恶性肿瘤，预后极差，发病率逐渐上升。在中国，胰腺癌的发病率、标准化死亡率逐年升高，病死率接近年发病率。胰腺癌早期发现困难，确诊时多数已为晚期，失去手术根治机会。靶向药物PARP抑制剂在具有BRCA基因突变的转移性胰腺癌维持治疗中获得较大进展，以PD-1/PD-L1免疫检查点抑制剂为代表的肿瘤免疫治疗因可维持持久应答、获得长期生存，极大的改变了临床肿瘤治疗的模式。然而很多患者对胰腺癌存在某些误解、延误就诊，存在恐惧心理。本书从"认识胰腺""胰腺肿瘤的蛛丝马迹""胰腺癌的治疗""居家注意事项"等方面，使用通俗易懂的文字，介绍了胰腺肿瘤的诊断治疗。着重就胰腺癌诊疗过程中普遍关心的问题进行了阐述，让普通大众对胰腺相关内容深入了解，增强信心，有助于患者的早期诊断和配合规范的治疗。提高大众专业知识，提高早诊率，改善患者生存。
