Patient Safety

This book aims to serve as a playbook and a guide for the creation of a safer healthcare system in the contemporary healthcare ecosystem. It meets this goal through examinations of clinical case studies that illustrate core principles of patient safety, coverage of a broad range of medical errors including medication errors, and solutions to reducing medical errors that are widely applicable in many settings. Throughout the book, the chapters offer viewpoints from healthcare leaders, accomplished practitioners, and experts in patient safety.
