Police militarism has been back at the forefront of criminal justice policy discussions in the wake of the militaristic police response to protests following a police officer's fatal shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, in 2014. This book examines the issue of militarization in a post-Ferguson environment from the perspective of those inside policing.
