Tami Powers was overwhelmed, depressed,

and trying desperately to get her feet back on the ground. 

To cope, she dug deep into her Idaho-farm-girl roots and started getting up at four-thirty in the morning and running-and running some more. Over time, she ran close to one hundred marathons, in all fifty states.

Then one day, she developed super powers.

Inexplicably, in times of conflict and danger, Tami's new abilities suddenly emerged: to react in nano time, overcoming insurmountable odds and dangerous, ugly situations. Now, she takes vengeance on numerous underworld gangsters, street thugs, and escaped parolees, rescues innocent victims, and battles corporate intrigue-all while training to become an elite, nationally competitive runner.

Throughout her adventures, a strong family and community identity is Tami's sustaining force. But as her super powers are revealed to the public and she becomes a media sensation, things really begin to heat up for Tami and her family-especially when she is invited to work with the Diplomatic Security Service, using her talents to help protect America's athletes at the upcoming Universal Games.
