Mary of Magdala is the most maligned figure in Christian history. For nearly 2,000 years, she has been defined by shame and perpetual penance. However, this "repentant whore" is a piece of theological fiction. In reality, Mary was a woman of high social standing and the chosen recipient of Jesus's highest esoteric wisdom.

The demotion of the Apostola Apostolorum was a political hit-piece launched in 591 CE by Pope Gregory the Great. By branding the Savior's closest companion a prostitute, the institutional church dismantled female authority to secure a male-only hierarchy.
