Scootapotamus Book One

Scootapotamus is a purple baby hippopotamus born with soft scooter wheels instead of hind feet. As he explores the African savanna alongside his loving parents, Mala and Bantu, Scooty begins to notice that he is different from the other animals. When he wonders why he isn't like everyone else, he discovers an important truth: the qualities that make us different may become our greatest strengths.

Book One - Scootapotamus: The Baby Arrives combines themes of self-acceptance, family love, kindness, and belonging. The second title, Scootapotamus and the Great Race to Nowhere, follows Scooty as he joins a race that every animal seems determined to win, only to discover that the greatest adventures happen when we slow down, enjoy the journey, and choose our own path.
