This book explores the (dis)connections between writing and women''s experience. Key western narratives of women''s identity are questioned, as are the literary methods used to construct those narratives. It also explores the possibilities of reworking and re-inventing ourselves. This is subversive writing that sets out to destabilise and transform, requiring readers to imagine other worlds.
