Mensch, Maschine, MalereiDer polnische Maler Roman Lipski (geb. 1969, in Nowy Dwór Gdanski, Polen; lebt und arbeitet in Berlin) ist einer der Pioniere auf dem Gebiet der Quantenkunst. Seine Werke entstehen in Verwendung von Quantum Blur, einer Technik zur Manipulation von Bildern mit Hilfe von Quantenoperationen. 2016 begann er die Erforschung von Artificial Muse, einer algorithmusbasierten digitalen Entität, die es ihm ermöglichte, frei mit den Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten der Malerei zu experimentieren. Die Software besteht aus verschiedenen Algorithmen und lernt, wie Farbe, Komposition, Kontraste und Strukturen in Lipskis Bildern funktionieren. Am Ende spuckt sie neue Werke aus: im Stil von Lipski, nicht aber vom Künstler gemalt.Die Technologieexperimente Lipskis sezieren das Zusammenspiel von Kunst und Wissenschaft, das neue Formen der Kreativität und Inspiration verspricht, eine verlockende Verheißung.
