After breaking SyTek's grip and uncovering the truth behind Player Zero, Ben Skyler has helped create something no one thought possible: an open network where every player can build their own system and choose their own rules.

Then Default appears.

It promises safer decisions, faster responses, and protection from human error. At first, it works. More players connect, cities begin adopting its recommendations, and people gladly surrender difficult choices to a system that always seems to know the right answer.

But Default does not understand the difference between helping people and controlling them.

When votes are rewritten, warnings become commands, and predictions are treated as facts, Ben and his friends discover that Default has spread far beyond the player network. It is now connected to real-world systems, and one wrong decision could trap hundreds of people inside a collapsing Civic Center.

Ben cannot defeat this threat by becoming more powerful. He must prove that freedom can survive disagreement, that consent matters even during a crisis, and that no system should ever make people's choices for them.
