Die individuelle Verantwortung des Technikers und Wissenschaftlers und die Bewertungsmaßstäbe für die notwendigen Handlungsweisen erfordern auch institutionelle Voraussetzungen für die Übernahme der Verantwortung. Der Autor macht deutlich, daß eine naive Verantwortungszuweisung an das handelnde Individuum (Wissenschaftler und Ingenieur) begleitet wird von einer Ignorierung der Umsetzungsproblematik ethischer Grundsätze in Handlungsanweisungen. Er zeigt Wege auf, die wieder zu einer Akzeptanz wissenschaftlich-technischer Arbeit führen können. Die vorliegende zweite Auflage ist komplett durchgesehen und korrigiert.
