In May 2014, a man named Aaran Clark was given six to twelve months to live.

He had already been writing for years - not for publication, but for his children. A private letter, as comprehensive as he could make it, about everything he wanted them to know before he could no longer tell them. How to build a self. How to love another person. How to hold the centre when everything pulls at once. How to recognise and resist the damage that other people's words can inflict on a life before it has fully formed.

Against time, that letter became six books. And then, against the odds, he survived.

The man who emerged was not the same man who had gone in. He had changed his name - from Aaran Clark to S.Y. (Shīfù Yǎlún) Kelake - not as rejection of the past, but as the outcome of a profound reckoning with who he wished to be. He completed formal academic studies in law and forensic psychology. He returned to the books and refined them with everything he had since learned. And he published them, one by one, as the Seeking That Which Was Lost series.

The Book of Yalun · 雅伦 is all six, gathered here for the first time in their correct sequence and their complete form - the work as it was always intended to be read.

The name: 雅伦 (Yǎlún). Not a translation of Aaran. Chosen for what the characters carry.

雅 (Yǎ) - dignity, refinement, cultivated character. Something worked toward its proper form. 伦 (Lún) - ethical relationships, the right order of things, responsibility toward others.

Together: to hold oneself with integrity inwardly while acting with fairness and responsibility outward. The name as a life's intention.

The six books follow a single developmental arc - self, then other, then the world between:

THE PEACEFUL WARRIOR - the foundational book. You cannot give what you have not built. Thirty years of martial practice distilled into a map of self-knowledge and self-mastery.

THE SACRED FIRE - the book of intimate partnership. Infatuation passes. Desire is fleeting. What sustains is built, not felt.

THE MIDDLE WAY - balance under pressure. How to remain centred when everything pulls. This edition is expanded from the standalone version, including the previously unpublished Chapter Nine.

THE UPRIGHT - character. What holds the centre when everything else fails. Built around a woman whose character and courage made the rest of this work possible.

THE LEVEL - not passive. A level person holds the capacity for extreme force and the wisdom to withhold it. Precision over power.

INVISIBLE THREADS - the damage words leave that no bone scan can detect. The most urgent book for any parent, and the most valuable for any adult who has begun to examine their own construction.

The Book of Yalun also contains a new preface, an exclusive chapter not published in any individual volume, and a closing that brings the entire arc home.

The mapmaker has already made the journey. He writes the map as precisely as he can, so the traveller does not have to navigate in the dark.

雅伦: the cultivation that is passed on. What is built in a person through genuine work, and the relationship through which it reaches the next generation.

The finding is yours.
