The Children of Sankara

When the sacred Memory Drum cracks during the Festival of Stories in Burkina Faso, something terrifying awakens.
Across Africa, elders begin forgetting names. Songs disappear. Languages fade. Ancient stories vanish into the wind. A mysterious force known only as The Silence is stealing the memories of an entire continent.
Chosen by an ancient prophecy, four courageous children-Ayo, Zara, Kofi, and Temba-must embark on an extraordinary journey to restore the legendary Fires of Memory before Africa's history is lost forever.
Guided by the wise griot Mama Kadidia and a magical Sankofa Bird, they travel through hidden libraries beneath Timbuktu, magical markets where languages become music, underground cities powered by forgotten inventions, and ancient kingdoms guarded by spirits of memory.
Along the way they discover:

• The power of storytelling
• The importance of preserving language and culture
• The strength found in compassion and truth
• The beauty of African civilizations and heritage
• The courage to face fear, grief, and uncertainty
• The responsibility of carrying history into the future
