THE GREENHORN ORDERLIES

Sixteen hundred years passed, and no one ever thought the world was bigger than their island or questioned the order. These kids are different. willing to take their chances beyond the mountains that circle their islands, even though they've heard, like those before them, that it is where the world ends in a deep fall.

Everything seems to be falling into place according to their plans as they stumble upon sailors on their island. They stow away, excited for a great, wide world-but they're met with a shock when they land at the docks and find other kids like themselves, wearing similar tunics.

Everything has been predetermined.

They've been born to fulfill an age-long prophecy... the outcome is the only thing not yet decided. Now they must learn about the Banished and his companion, who have taken hold of their world, and hope they're ready for the war to come.

They have the elements to wield, but how much they can wield is entirely up to them.

This is the story of the occupants of the seven islands, surrounded by the seven ancient waters, as they arrive at Kyrgryn-the province of their island, where everything they need to be honed into Orderlies has been prepared.
