The Lock

The war is over. Nobody told the dark.

Dream did her fighting. Now she keeps a quiet lighthouse on a cold coast, and her daughter Honesty is twelve years old and growing up fast - with a great white wolf named Majesty at her side, the black wolf Rook on watch at the tree line, and a power in her blood that was never meant for a child.

The enemy got one thing wrong. They have been saying it for three hundred years, and they built a whole war on it.

They say Honesty is the KEY. The girl who can open the seals and let loose what is bound under the world.

She is not the key.

She is the LOCK.

Four battles are coming. One will cost them somebody they love. One will bring help out of the shadows. One will nearly break them. And in the last one, a secret carried for twenty years finally gets said out loud - and nothing in this family is the same after.

Dream cannot stand in front of her daughter forever. So she does the only thing left. She teaches Honesty everything she knows, and she teaches her how to hold.

Book Two of The Blood Saga - the sequel to Dream: The Name They Gave Her.
