The Old Terror

There are passages in the Bible that no sermon mentions.

A command to kill every woman and child of Midian and keep the young girls "for yourselves." A father who burns his own daughter to keep a rash vow. Seventy thousand dead for one king's census. A woman handed to a mob and left at a doorway while heaven stays silent. For years, Arthur Tiger read these texts as the strongest evidence against faith.
