This book argues a position. Achaarya Madhva's system was built in open debate combat with rival philosophers, and presenting it politely as the only option among many would misrepresent what it is. So this book makes the Dvaita case as its own teachers make it - and names the opposing view accurately every time it does, because Achaarya Madhva's method was to state the opponent's argument in full before answering it. Where the tradition holds something a modern reader will find hard, the book says so rather than smoothing it over.
